Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 2 T cooking oil or butter
  • 1 T mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 4 T keto sugar substitute e.g. erythritol or 8 mini-scoops of stevia powder
  • 1 T molasses or keto brown sugar substitute
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t pepper

Instructions
 

  • Chop onion and bell pepper.
  • Mince garlic.
  • Heat up oil in skillet.
  • Add chopped onion and bell pepper to skillet. Sautee for about 15 minutes, until the begin to caramelize.
  • Add garlic. Sautee for about two minutes, taking care that the garlic not burn.
  • Add mustard powder and tomato paste to skillet, mixing skillet contents well.
  • Add ground beef to skillet. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to cook thoroughly and consistently.
  • Add the sweeteners and salt and pepper.
  • Taste and adjust the salt, pepper, and sweetness.
